Thundersnow...

Two Dash 9's heading north, passing through Castleberry Alabama during a very rare Alabama snowstorm.

Followed this SD 70 lead from the Evergreen Alabama station north for a few miles, snapping pics at various crossing..

Southern Snow..

Snow is fairly rare in the South, but a heavy snow event is even more rare. I drove over into southern Alabama to catch this rare snowstorm and wasn't disappointed! Here are some teaser pics. I have a lot of pics to edit and post over the next week so stay tuned!!

my dream... my way....

On location at High Falls Georgia today. Lots of water running over the falls. In fact to much water. Not the best conditions for a shoot but I love rainy days. Had a wonderful time today workin with Joni. Excellent photographer in her own right. More pics to come!

early morning thunder..

Just left work and happened to have my camera with me. 3 Dash 9 units were pulling a container train bound for Jacksonville. Love the morning light, but its hard when you get little sleep on an EMS shift to want to run out and shoot pics when you get of work.

down...

Been sick for three days now. Nasty bugger of a head cold. I get them twice a year and this one is running a couple months early. Best get it out of the way before warm weather gets here.. My photography and videography business is slow to start but showing signs of life. Beginning to wonder if i should have even bothered. People call and you give them quotes and then they complain that your prices are to high. No problem I just tell them "Fine, go some where else" or "Go buy a camera and you try it." Of course I am very polite when telling them this....most of the time. Redone some lightning shots from last year. Been a while since I have been able to capture any..looking forward to the Spring here in the South..
