Here are a few pics from my recent road trip this week. I covered parts of the North Georgia, North Carolina and the Tennessee mountains. I had to make an out of the way stop over in Centre Alabama but shot no pics as I was way behind schedule and just had to drop something off to a friend. lots of pics to posted over the next several days. From the road...

Been across northern Georgia, parts of eastern Tennessee, northeastern Alabama and North Carolina. Still on the road tonight but will be home tomorrow and going over pics one by one...

cant take it any longer..

...cleaned off my schedule for the next four days. Leaving as soon as my truck is serviced in the morning. The final destination is unknown tonight but the area is somewhere in the mountains of Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina or Tennessee..Wish I could say that this was a true road trip for pictures. But sometimes you just have to get far away and recharge and pictures and video aren't a priority. A "fortress of solitude" awaits somewhere..I am sure pics will be taken but not going to worry about getting "the shot"..

Lazy summer days in Georgia...

Hot, humid and life comes to a slow crawl..My theory about this time of year is this. We only have 7 more weeks until its September!! Even though its hot in September I can feel the autumn chill slowly getting closer and it makes July and August it a little more bearable...

Was hoping to capture some lightning today but it wasn't meant to be. So I settled for some shots of approaching thunderstorms..

Sorry for the lack of postings lately. Been working extra hours at my second job and having someone new in my life takes up a lot of my time but I cant complain one bit ;-). Vacation time is coming and this means it's time for a road trip. Little to hot to take one now as I prefer the cooler time of year, but I hope to put 3 more in the books by the end of this year. Will post pics as I have time to get out and shoot but the summer time heat isn't encouraging me very much..LOL! Hope everyone had a safe 4th of July weekend!
