Till my next journey..Goodbye to August, Welcome September!

I hope you have enjoyed this latest road trip series. I really enjoyed this trip as I was able to find new areas to shoot this Fall. I didn't quite shoot as many pics as I wanted but the "quality" time spent alone and on the back roads was soothing to the soul and mind.plus I feel I captured some really quality shots for my portfolio...More trips are planned later this year. Sorry for the delay of postings from the  recent road trip. Still have a few left and will post as soon as I can..Busy week for me so far..

Thunder in the hills...(For Michelle)

Waiting on a siding for a north bound local to pass before heading on south towards Chatsworth..

"High Ballin" south...

Never grew out of the love of railroads..A major CSX line runs through this area and I never have gotten a chance to take wait and capture them as they pass through. I plan to work an area with a Norfolk Southern line this Fall somewhere in the mountians, just dont know where yet....

Arc Angels....

A lone storm provided me with some entertainment this evening. Although a very prolific lightning producer, almost all was hidden behind the rain shaft in the core of the storm. Still it was worth it!!
